Week at Day Camp, July 14-17

Register for four sessions of Day Camp at Camp Tanglefoot for the price of three!

Registration includes On the Go Day Camp, July 14; Art Blast Day Camp July 15; Wild Water Day Camp, July 16; and A Bug’s Life Day Camp, July 17. Please see below for descriptions of each day camp session.

The fine print:

• Day Camp sessions begin at 9 AM and end at 5 PM. Campers must be picked up every evening.
• This offer only applies to the specific sessions listed above and below and cannot be transferred to other camp sessions.
• Already registered for one or more of these sessions?  Email info@gsiowa.org and request that your registration be transferred!  Please include the session(s) you have already registered for in your request.

On the Go Day Camp, July 14

Join us for a fun-filled day camp where every moment is an adventure! Jump into the cool lake for a swim, ride the waves while boating, and let your creativity shine in a craft session. Go on a scavenger hunt where you’ll solve clues, figure out riddles, and discover hidden surprises. Get ready for a day full of fun, laughter, and awesome memories that will be the highlight of your summer!

Art Blast Day Camp July 15

Get ready for an awesome day of crafting at camp! Jump into fun hands-on crafts that spark your imagination. Tie-dye a T-shirt, make cool creations inspired by nature, and weave a colorful friendship bracelet to remember your camp adventures! Later, cool off with a swim in the lake and enjoy some fun games that will keep you laughing. It’s a day filled with crafts, friendship, and memories you’ll treasure!

Wild Water Day Camp, July 16

Dive into an exciting water adventure at Camp Tanglefoot! Imagine yourself soaking up the sun as you jump into the cool lake, leaping off the Lily Pad. Glide across the sparkling water while boating and play fun water games that will have you laughing and splashing with your friends! You’ll spend lots of time at the lake, but the fun doesn’t stop there. You’ll also create a water-themed craft to take home and remember this amazing experience! 

A Bug’s Life Day Camp, July 17

Hey, nature explorers! Join us as we head into the wilderness on a bug hunt. You’ll get to decorate your very own bug jar for catching fireflies so you can keep the fun going at home and capture one of the coolest nighttime creatures. We’ll explore our native prairie and search for caterpillars, grasshoppers, and other bugs that live in the wildflowers! On our bug hunt we’ll keep a lookout for larger animal tracks, too!  Join us for a day full of fun, including a refreshing swim in the lake and boating on the sparkling water!
