Join Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa and Principal Financial Group for a powerful day of career exploration, leadership development, and Girl Scout sisterhood! You’ll connect with inspiring professionals, dive into hands-on activities, and explore exciting career paths that could shape your future—all while having a blast. 

  • Hear from dynamic speakers and industry leaders 
  • Participate in career-focused workshops and community impact projects 
  • Learn how to become a data expert through the DataSetGold program—and how it can help fund your Gold Award project! 
  • Enjoy lunch, giveaways, and some sweet treats 

This free event is open to Girl Scouts in grades 6-12. It’s the perfect opportunity to build your resume, earn community service hours, and take the lead on your future. 

Chaperones are required and must register. 

Register by September 26, 2025 to save your spot! 

Girl Scout Takeover Day at Principal is more than a field trip—it’s an exclusive opportunity to gain real-world insight, build confidence, and spark your career goals.

Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa (GSGI) understands the importance of this experience and is happy to provide documentation that participants can present to their schools to request that their absences for this event be approved.
