Ready to level up your leadership game? CIT II is all about hands-on experience! Enjoy the magic of camp, then shadow real counselors, support cabin groups, and see what it takes to make camp run smoothly. You’ll practice problem-solving, communication, and activity facilitation while stepping into a leadership role. This is your chance to shine and prepare for a future as a camp counselor—or any leadership role you dream of!

This leadership adventure is based on the insights of leading child development experts, Girl Scouts of the USA, and the American Camp Association.

CITs will have a session break from 1:30 p.m. on July 24, 2026, through 1:30 p.m. on July 26, 2026. CITs must plan to leave camp during this session break. It’s your time to relax and recharge before coming back for more exciting adventures!

Scheduling accommodations may be made if a camper must miss a few days of this program. CIT I is not required to participate in CIT II. After successful completion of the CIT program, campers are encouraged to apply to work as camp staff prior to the summer they turn 18.
