Service Unit Event: Earth Day Event (Waukee)

Sun, Apr 26 @ 3:30 pm

Join Troop 932 for an Earth Day event!

Girls will learn about the importance of protecting our planet while exploring the 5 Rs of Recycling—Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, and Recycle. Through fun, hands-on activities and interactive learning, participants will discover simple ways they can make a positive impact on the environment in their everyday lives.

Participants are asked to bring an old T-shirt that they no longer use. The shirt will be cut up and repurposed as part of one of the hands-on recycling activities.

All participants will receive an patch to commemorate their learning and commitment to caring for the Earth. Come ready to learn, create, and take action for our planet!
