DESCRIPTION:Join us at the 2024 Volunteer Retreat at Camp Sacajawea. The main training day is on Saturday\, October 26\, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Start here by registering for Saturday’s main training. You can add optional overnights\, CPR Trainings\, and more after you register for the main training.  \nGet ready for an exciting weekend of training\, friendship\, and Girl Scout fun at Camp Sacajawea! Volunteer Retreat 2024 is your chance to dive into the world of Girl Scouts\, enhance your leadership skills\, and experience camp life like never before. \nSaturday registration includes all training sessions and activities held on Saturday including breakfast\, lunch\, and dinner for $50. See below for more details about overnight accommodation and/or specialized training opportunities. \nWhat to expect: \n\nLearn from experienced volunteers and staff\nExplore Girl Scout traditions and the great outdoors\nGain valuable skills to enhance your leadership for your troop\nMake new friends while exploring Camp Sacajawea!\n\nSaturday’s agenda:  \nCheck-in and breakfast for our main training day begins at 7:30 a.m. with the official session starting at 8:30 a.m. During the day\, you’ll be able to choose from sessions on STEAM Activities\, Girl Scout Troop Accounting\, Girl Scout Events\, Girl Scout Traditions and Ceremonies\, Highest Rewards\, OR Leader Resources! Spend time exploring our beautiful camp\, making new friends and even doing a little shopping.  Training concludes at 5:15 p.m.\, and dinner is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday attendees are welcome to stay after dinner for Girl Scout Trivia\, a Campfire and Skits. Breakfast\, lunch\, and dinner are included. \nLooking for overnight lodging and/or additional training opportunities?  \nOvernight Registration click here! There are three overnight options to choose from: \n\n\n\n\n\nFriday Night Overnight: $50. Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. This overnight does not include CPR training. While there is no formal agenda for Friday night\, you’ll have time to mingle with other attendees at shopping\, dinner\, post-dinner games and a s’mores bar!\nSaturday Night Overnight: $50. This overnight includes breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Official Sunday trainings are not included\, but you are welcome to explore the camp on your own through 2:30 p.m.\nFriday & Saturday Night Overnight: Stay both nights for $75 total. Check-in on Friday is from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. You’ll have time to mingle with other attendees on Friday night during activities and dinner. On Sunday\, breakfast and lunch will be provided. You are welcome to explore camp on your own through 2:30 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\nOptional Friday CPR Training: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for $40 \nOptional Sunday CPR Training: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for $40 \nOptional Sunday Youth Mental Health First Aid Training: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break for $65 \nRegistration closes October 16\, 2024 for all sessions and add-on overnights and trainings.
