DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to take on the great outdoors? In this action-packed session\, you’ll build confidence and learn essential survival skills through hands-on experiences like fire building\, shelter construction\, plant identification\, water safety and rescue techniques\, and outdoor cooking. Put your new skills to the test during a memorable campout on the Tanglefoot prairie where you’ll pitch your own tent and sleep beneath a sky full of stars! The adventure continues with a scenic canoe day trip to a nearby beach\, plus plenty of time at the waterfront for swimming\, paddle boarding\, and soaking up the sun. Challenge yourself on the low ropes course\, aim for the bullseye at the archery range\, and enjoy creative crafts. As evening falls\, gather around the campfire to share stories\, laughter\, and gooey s’mores. Campers entering seventh grade and above in fall 2026 will also have the opportunity to take on the high ropes course! \nHighlights of the session:\n– Learn survival skills.\n– Campout on the Tanglefoot prairie under the stars.\n– Take a canoe day trip. \nRegistration deadline is 5/31/2026 \n(Grade level for registration is the grade your Girl Scout will be entering in Fall 2026)

Start by tackling our two-level high ropes course where you’ll take on solo challenges in the first level and then team up with a friend for the exciting partner challenges on the second—each level ends with a thrilling zipline! Gather your courage for the Leap of Faith and explore the tallest branches of our climbing tree while cheering on your friends as you all reach new heights. Midweek\, we’ll venture off-site for a special field trip to another incredible ropes course. Back at camp\, the adventure continues as you aim for the bullseye at the archery range\, create a climbing-inspired craft project\, and spend plenty of time at the waterfront – swimming\, canoeing\, and paddle boarding. Dip your toes in the lake as you watch the sun set\, then sing with friends around the campfire to end your day. \nHighlights of this session:\n– Tanglefoot’s two-level high ropes course and zip lines.\n– Go tree climbing.\n– Go on a special field trip to another ropes course in Minnesota. \nRegistration deadline is 5/31/2026 \n(Grade level for registration is the grade your Girl Scout will be entering in Fall 2026)
