Every other year\, we load up a bus or two and hit the road to Savannah\, Georgia\, where Girl Scouts was founded in 1912! Join us for a whirlwind of history\, beautiful places\, and delicious southern food. Take a tour through our founder Juliette Gordon Low’s birthplace as well as the Andrew Low house\, which was the last home she resided in. We’ll check out the Girl Scout First Headquarters and the Railroad Museum\, where Juliette’s family was influential in the start of Savannah. The trip doesn’t stop there! SUMMARY:First Aid/CPR Training- Mason City
DESCRIPTION:GSGI requires each troop to secure a Troop First Aider\, a registered adult volunteer trained in First Aid and CPR. In partnership with the American Red Cross\, we offer a blended learning training option for volunteers. Once you register for a session\, you’ll receive an email receipt. One week before your training session you will receive another email with a link to complete your at-home portion (on a PC or tablet)\, which must be completed prior to attending the in-person skills test. Allow approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the online portion. \nFor the in-person session\, please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to spend some time sitting or lying on the floor. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. \nRegistration Close Date: 8/29/25
