DESCRIPTION:In honor of Women’s History Month the Iowa Wolves is celebrating their Women’s History Night Game with Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa on March 29\, 2024 tipping off at 7:00 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena in downtown Des Moines. \nTickets are available for exclusively for Girl Scouts and their family and friends to purchase for $10 each. Girl Scouts will enjoy the reciting of the Girl Scout Law and Promise together in the arena prior the game. Proceeds from public ticket sales\, post-game jersey auction\, and donations will go directly back to GSGI. \nChaperones are required\, this is not a drop off event.

DESCRIPTION:GSGI recommends each troop secure a Troop First Aider\, a registered adult volunteer trained in First Aid and CPR. In partnership with the American Red Cross\, we offer a blended learning training option for volunteers. Once you register for a session\, you’ll receive an email receipt with a link to complete your at-home portion (on a PC or tablet)\, which must be completed prior to attending the in-person skills test. Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion. \nFor the in-person session\, please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to spend some time sitting or lying on the floor.
