DESCRIPTION:GSGI recommends each troop secure a Troop First Aider\, a registered adult volunteer trained in First Aid and CPR. In partnership with the American Red Cross\, we offer a blended learning training option for volunteers. Once you register for a session\, you’ll receive an email receipt with a link to complete your at-home portion (on a PC or tablet)\, which must be completed prior to attending the in-person skills test. You’ll learn from other volunteers and staff and get to experience a weekend at camp! Join us on September 23\, 2023 at Camp Sacajawea in Boone\, Iowa. \nYou’ll have a muddy good time as you trudge through the mud pits and through the woods. Our family runners (ages 8 and up) take on three miles of terrain filled with obstacles. Our littlest muddy buddies (ages 4 and up) can get in on the fun\, with our modified 1-mile course with pint-sized obstacles built just for them. \nIf you are also a member of Girl Scouts (girl or adult)\, you’ll save an additional $20 off the prices below: \n\n3 Mile Course – $60 per person ($40 for Girl Scout member)\n1 Mile Course – $40 per girl ($20 for Girl Scout member)\nAnyone who wants to be on either course must register and complete the necessary waiver\, which can be found on smoremudrun.com\nA t-shirt is included in the cost of registration.\n\nPlease note:\nGeneral registration closes August 28. All other registrations after this date will have a late fee. \nThere are no refunds or transfers. DESCRIPTION:Join us for Girl Scout Day at the Interstate Speedway! All Girl Scouts can enter the races for free on Sunday\, July 16\, wear a Girl Scout shirt or uniform to show your girl scout pride! Adult tickets are $15. Don’t forget your ear covers\, the races can be loud! \nWant to have even more fun? We have a special event before the races where girls can view a race car up close\, find out about safety features of the car and clothing worn\, and build a mini race car. That event runs from 3:30-5 pm and costs $15. The girls will also get to on the track for the national anthem before the races. Deadline to register for the event before the races is July 1st.

DESCRIPTION:Join us to cheer on the Des Moines Menace as they take on St. Charles FC! Girl Scouts and their families receive a special discounted ticket price. Use the link to purchase tickets. Bring your troop\, friends\, and the whole family! \nBonus: 25 Girl Scouts will be selected to participate as Anthem Buddies. These Girl Scouts will get the chance to walk with onto the field with the Des Moines Menace and stand with them during the national anthem. Girl Scouts are selected randomly by the Des Moines Menace. Those selected will be contacted one week before the event.
