This session includes a week where you assist trained counselors in leading younger campers in activities and outdoor skills\, giving you hands-on experience in running camp programs and working with different group dynamics. This is your chance to learn to be a well-rounded and successful camp counselor. After finishing the C.I.T. program\, you will be eligible to apply to be part of the camp staff next summer. \nCITs will have a break from Friday\, August 1\, 2025\, at 1:15 p.m. to Monday\, August 4\, 2025\, at 1:00 p.m. During this break\, CITs must leave camp. You’ll learn all about how to keep your new friend happy\, healthy\, and safe – all while earning your animal badge (Daisy Animal Observer\, Brownie Pets\, Junior Animal Habitats\, Cadette Animal Helper). \nThrough games\, crafts\, hands-on activities\, and even a vet check-up\, you’ll discover what it means to be a great animal friend—whether to your real-life pet or your brand-new furry friend! Join in the creativity\, learning\, and paws-itively unforgettable memories! \nGirls will select their animal during registration\, and each option has a different price point— check out the Build-a-Bear Menu for all the choices and pricing. \n🧸 Bonus: Want to add extra flair to your furry friend? Additional Build-A-Bear accessories will be available for purchase at the event. \nChaperones are welcome but not required\, and do not need to register. \nThe event cost includes one Build-A-Bear stuffed animal and all event activities. The event cost does not include the badge. Badges can be purchased separately from the Girl Scout Shop. \nRegister by August 15.
