A Bug’s Life Day Camp, July 11

Attention all fearless nature explorers, the ultimate adventure awaits! You’ll venture into the wilderness of camp on a bug hunt, armed with a bug box, to find and identify fascinating creatures. Pour your creativity into decorating your own firefly-catching jar, and be ready to continue this adventure at home as you capture one of night’s most magical creatures. You’ll traverse our native prairie and hunt for caterpillars, grasshoppers, and other bugs that call the wildflowers their home. You’ll top it off with an exciting mission to uncover mysterious animal tracks. Join us for a day of discovery, including a refreshing swim in the lake and time boating on the lakefront!
