Join Ozzie the Ocelot and take on the GSGI Own Your Magic Challenge! The Own Your Magic Challenge encourages all Girl Scouts to embrace your uniqueness, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships with your fellow Girl Scouts. Are you ready to unleash your inner ocelot and embark on this enchanting adventure? Let’s “Own Your Magic” together!

BONUS: All GSGI Girl Scouts who participate in the challenge between September 19 through October 27, can enter for a chance to take the giant Ozzie stuffed animal home! Just submit a picture of yourself working on the challenge through this online form.

When is the first and last day for sales?
Fall product sales start on September 29.

The last date for sales varies based on your method of sale.

All in-person sales end on October 22.

Who can participate in the Own Your Magic Challenge contest?

Who can participate in the Own Your Magic Challenge contest?
Any registered Girl Scout in the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa council can enter the Own Your Magic Challenge contest.

After I complete the Own Your Magic Challenge, where do I get my patch?
The Own Your Magic Challenge patch is available for purchase in GSGI retail shops.

Where do I enter our Own Your Magic Challenge for the chance to take Ozzie home?
Share your Own Your Magic Challenge with us at through this form.

Snap a picture of your Girl Scout completing the challenge and  submit it using the link. One lucky Girl Scout will be randomly selected from all those who entered. An announcement will be made on Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa’s Facebook page and an email will be sent to the parent/guardian of the lucky Girl Scout on October 31.

When is the deadline to submit our photos for the Own Your Magic Challenge?
The deadline to submit your photo for your chance to take Ozzie home is October 27.

Can troops participate in the Own Your Magic Challenge?
Yes, troops can participate! However, entries need to be submitted individually per Girl Scout via the online form for the chance to win Ozzie. One lucky Girl Scout will be randomly selected from all those who entered.
