Wilderness Wayfarers, June 14-19
Sun, Jun 14 @ 1:30 pm
Are you ready to take on the great outdoors? In this action-packed session, you’ll build confidence and learn essential survival skills through hands-on experiences like fire building, shelter construction, plant identification, water safety and rescue techniques, and outdoor cooking. Put your new skills to the test during a memorable campout on the Tanglefoot prairie where you’ll pitch your own tent and sleep beneath a sky full of stars! The adventure continues with a scenic canoe day trip to a nearby beach, plus plenty of time at the waterfront for swimming, paddle boarding, and soaking up the sun. Challenge yourself on the low ropes course, aim for the bullseye at the archery range, and enjoy creative crafts. As evening falls, gather around the campfire to share stories, laughter, and gooey s’mores. Campers entering seventh grade and above in fall 2026 will also have the opportunity to take on the high ropes course!
