Do you know how our state legislature works, and what goes into creating our laws?
Are you interested in possibly running for public office someday? Join us for an informative and fun day at our State Capitol!

You’ll enjoy a tour of the Iowa State Capitol, learn from the experts about how an idea can become a law, find out how to be an active citizen, and get the chance to meet key members of the legislative process. Girl Scouts will complete requirements for the Brownie and Junior Democracy Badge. Badge is included in the cost of the event.

Chaperones are required. This is NOT a drop-off event.
If you are attending as a troop, please make every attempt to register as one group.

Register by April 12.
