Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors: Raise Your Voice is back! This popular leadership conference is about learning to use your voice to improve your world. Hosted at Iowa State University, participants will experience life on a college campus, learn from guest speakers, spend time with friends, and earn the Engineering Journey.
Work as a team to engineer solutions to a variety of challenges:
- Toxic material clean up
- Safe infrastructure
- Adaptive Eyewear
- Creative light show
- Practice advocacy and Take Action
- Present your team’s solutions to a societal issue
Included (youth):
- 3 days, 2 nights at Martin Hall dormitory (put roommate preference in Buddy Info)
- All meals Saturday and Breakfast Sunday
- Complete the Think Like an Engineer Journey including the Take Action project
- Chaperones for the full weekend
- Event Patch, Think Like an Engineer Badge, and Take Action Badge
Included (adult):
- 3 days, 2 nights at Martin Hall dormitory (put roommate preference in Buddy Info)
- All meals Saturday and Breakfast Sunday
- Non-Girl Scouts optional programming related to post-secondary financial aid and related topics
