Ranch Pals: Animal Care Exploration: Council Bluffs Area

  • This event has passed.

Come to Scatter Joy Acres to learn all about ranch life.
The ranch is presently home to more than 65 animals like alpacas, sheep, rabbits, goats, horses, cows, a camel, a variety of fowl, pigs, and peacocks. Scatter Joy Acres is a non-profit that provides animal therapy on the ranch and off-site.
Have you always wanted to live on a ranch? Join the fun and learn what it takes with hands-on experience in the daily chores taking care of the animals. Cleaning pens, grooming, and animal enrichment are all part of the daily routines needed.

Wear your best shoes for getting messy, bring a sack lunch, and plan to have some free time after the tasks are done on the playground with exploration of the wonderful ranch.

Chaperones are required per girl/adult ratios. This event is designed for Junior and above. Chaperones do not have to register.
